Smokey & Amelia's Adventure

Smokey had to travel 39.32 miles just to get home with me. We traveled in my car of course. We ended up traveling to Carrier Mills, which is about 5 minutes from my house, to the World War II Memorial. He had fun, because he got to ride with my mom. The coordinates for the memorial are 36.692586,-88.559386. During the night, I let Smokey sleep on my night stand, and my cat, Princess, attacked him. She did not like another animal sleeping in my room. Smokey survived the attack with no scratches of any sort. Today, Smokey and I are going to go to my work. I work at McDonalds in Harrisburg. It is the only one in the tri-state that has a basement.

Smokey and I went to University Mall on Sunday, August 29, 2010. University Mall is located at 1237 E. Main St. Latitude and longitude coordinates: 37.7305441, -89.1934369. This is 2.44 miles from Wham. We made sure to travel in style, my car. University Mall is the only mall in Carbondale. It opened in 1974 and was built around JCPenny. JCPenny was built in 1971.

Welcome to Fall Semester 2010

Excitement abounds! Our class mascot, Smokey, is ready to travel with the CI 424 kids. He has his bag packed, his documentation ready, and can hardly wait to explore.

Fall semester 2010 finds Smokey traveling with 28 different companions as they explore the wonders of nature through history, geography, and civics.
